Member Spotlight: Liz Pines

At Farm Girl Fitness, every member brings their own story, energy, and journey to the studio. These stories are what make the community what it is: supportive, motivating, and deeply personal.

This month, we are highlighting Liz Pines, who has been part of the Farm Girl Fitness community and continues to show what consistency, connection, and mindset can create over time.

Her Journey at Farm Girl Fitness

When Liz first started, she was looking for a place to move, feel better, and stay active through life’s changes. What she found was much more than a fitness studio, it was a community that supported her through every stage of her journey.

Over time, she noticed real changes in both body and mind. She describes feeling stronger, both physically and mentally, and more confident in her ability to push herself in workouts she once found challenging.

From conquering the Assault Bike (a “love-hate relationship” she now owns with pride) to mastering movements like TRX standing lunges, Liz has experienced steady progress she once didn’t think was possible.

More importantly, she shares that she feels happier, stronger, and more connected to her long-term goal of staying active for her children and future grandchildren.

What Has Changed Since Starting

Liz’s transformation goes beyond physical strength. She speaks about a shift in mindset. Feeling more empowered, more consistent, and more supported in her fitness journey.

She has also experienced meaningful changes in performance, confidence, and endurance, proving to herself that growth comes from showing up, even when things feel challenging.

Her Favourite Part of The Farm

For Liz, the biggest impact comes from the people.

She describes finding her “people” at Farm Girl Fitness—members who encourage, support, and connect in every class. From simple moments like asking someone to be a partner, to shared laughter during tough workouts, the community has become a core reason she keeps coming back.

She also highlights the coaching style and environment, sharing that each class feels real, supportive, and adaptable. No pressure. No expectations. Just honest movement and encouragement to do what feels right for you that day.

“Give it 2 weeks. You won’t look back. I found Farm Girl Fitness during the first year of COVID. Try a bootcamp, forest bath or a hustle class. Just bring your water bottle and running shoes and you won’t feel left out in any class. You will get a high five, a smile and feel alive after a class. Give yourself that time.”
