Coach Feature: Jessie Thomas and How It All Started
In 2020, when the world shifted and gyms closed, Jessie Thomas saw something deeper happening in her community. People needed support, connection, and movement more than ever. Instead of stepping back, Jessie stepped forward.
She turned her family’s 88 acre farm into a place where people could move safely and stay connected. Using hay bales, tires, and whatever equipment she could find, she created a space that was more than a workout location. It was a community.
From Farm Fields to Indoor Studios
As Farm Girl Fitness grew, Jessie transformed the unused horse barn into a warm, welcoming indoor space. Later, she expanded again to build Studio 2, a bright and spacious training environment that supports members year round.
Her Philosophy
Jessie believes fitness is about helping people feel strong, supported, and confident. No mirrors, no scales, no pressure. Just movement, community, and connection.
The Heart of Farm Girl Fitness
Today, Farm Girl Fitness is known for its supportive atmosphere, inclusive approach, and strong community spirit. Jessie’s vision is rooted in compassion, creativity, and a belief that fitness should feel empowering for everyone.
Her story is a reminder that strength shows up in many forms, and sometimes the biggest transformations happen when you follow your heart.
